I originally got involved with cycling in January of 2011.  Mike Darby had asked me to get involved in raising money to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society(LLS) through their Team in Training(TNT) group by riding a Century ride.  Once I started the training and had a chance to get involved with the local cycling community I fell in love with the sport.  I have ridden multiple century rides and when asked to get involved with the Tour de Hope Board it was a no brainer.  I have lived in Kansas City for over 30 years and really focus on giving back when I can.  Tour de Hope is a great opportunity to take something you are passionate about – Cycling and give back to the community.
