Bill Hicks is serving his second 'tour of duty' on the TDH Board, with exceedingly mediocre credentials as an endurance cyclist. After more than 20 years away from the bike, Bill resumed recreational cycling in 2006, and has dedicated himself to the notion that even old, overweight and vertically-challenged Republicans can enjoy the benefits of cycling - especially when it involves post-ride beers!
Away from the bike, Bill works for Ash Grove Cement Company, where he serves as the Director of Information Technology. An insanely loyal and enthusiastic Jayhawk sports fan, Bill is a graduate of the University of Kansas, where five of his six children also obtained degrees. He and his wife Kay are Prairie Village residents, and enjoy the abundant blessings of twelve grandchildren - soon to be thirteen!.
